Editing blog

For our film, my group members went over many options in which we wanted to edit our scenes in. We decided to change up our scenes that weren't visually appealing or that just weren't needed. After Aridsondez finished all the editing, he sent us the film so we could look at it. We were satisfied with the film and told him to submit it. Later the next day we came into class to do our peer reviews. We each reviewed another group's film. Their film was very good and had all the essentials needed for a film. We each did our peer review and gave it to the group so that they can see the feedback.We got our feedback from another group so that we could see our results. They said that our film was good and interesting. After doing the peer reviews, our teacher gave us instructions to move on to the next phase for our exams.

Now for the rest of the time, we just wait for further instructions to go on with our exam. My group and I have come a long way working together and have had much success with our projects. We hope that we do well on the exams and that the examiners are satisfied with our work. Our teacher has helped us along the way to success. Overall, I am happy with the progress of our group and the overall work we have done. Below will be a picture of one of the scenes being edited for our film:

Reshoot Blog (Haphephobia)

For my group's film, Haphephobia, we decided to re-shoot some of our scenes for our film because every scene was already done but a little wrong and we had already finished our film. Every scene that we shot that day when we decided to film was what we needed for our movie. After we shot all the scenes, we transferred all the clips to Aridsondez so that he could go home and edit it. Aridsondez was the only one that had an editing software available at his home. After shooting our film, we just decided to focus on the next steps in our plan for Cambridge. We went over many things such as our CCRs and other materials need ed for cambridge. We hope that that the time comes when we will be able to be completely done with filming so that we can move on to the next phase of our project. My group members and I have been working since the beginning of the school year to get everything done. We have spent a long time together and have done very well with working with each other. We hope that everything pays off and that we can all pass with the work we have done.

After all of our filming was completed and our film was done, we just waited for further instructions to move on.Our teachers guided us all the way to where we needed to be . My group and I have worked for the entire year. We just hope it all pays off in the end. Below will be a picture of a scene we re-shot for our film:

Re-Editing Blog (Fixing Titles)

While watching our film, my group and I realized that the titles for our film were streamlined and in the wrong order so we now we have to go back and fix them. This process won't be easy because only one of our group members has an editing software that can do the job. We showed which titles had to be redone so that the film looked smooth. We hope that the titles come out better after our group member, Aridsondez, fixes them. During the day of our peer review, my group came in and we each got our own sheet for peer reviewing. Once the group that was reviewing our film was done, they came up to us to give us their feedback. They explained how the titles were not put through the whole film and were only in certain parts. Our group did not realize we had to do this. Our editor squeezed titles together because we all thought that was necessary. That small mistake could have cost us many points off when it was time for the examiners to review our film. Luckily the peer review showed us the mistake and allowed our editor to back and fix the problem. After he finishes that we won't have to worry anymore about our film because everything will be set and complete. Below will be a photo of a scene being edited to change the title:

Filming blog

For my groups film, we filmed all the scenes we jotted down on our storyboard and brought them to life on our film. After we filmed all of our scenes, we let our Aridsondez go home and edit the entire film. He sent it in our group chat where we looked over it to make sure it was good. If we all agreed on something we didn't like in the film, we would ask him to tweak it a bit so it could look better. After we agreed on the way the entire film, we submitted to our teacher so that he could look over it. When we got back to class the next day , we had to review another groups film for peer review. There film was called the chase and it had a very interesting story line. We all wrote down what we liked about it and what they could've done to make it look better. We gave them our feedback and another gave us their feedback on our film.

After all the things we have done for our film, my group and I are just happy to be over with filming. We worked hard and put in hours to get our film the way we wanted it to be. We hope our teacher likes our film and the Cambridge examiners. Below will be a scene from our film "Haphephobia":

Filming blog

For today, we didn't do anything because we finished everything for our film. After finishing our film, we came to class the next day to do our peer reviews and look at another groups film. Our teachers were not there that day so we just did our work and turned it in to the substitute. Our group just caught up with everything we had to do for our project and finished it in time. During the filming process, we did our best to get everything done so we could edit the film and turn it in on time. There were times where we couldn't film because of transportation, weather, and time issues. We did our best to get all the filming done at one time an we successfully did each scene properly. We  gave it to Arisondez to edit it because he is the only person that has a editing program.

Now after finishing, we are just waiting for the next thing to do for our project. We are hoping that everything goes well and we are successful with everything in our project. Our teamwork is the thing that keep us going and always makes us get our work done. Being with each other for the whole year has built a lot of chemistry. We hope that our success keeps going for future projects and our tests. Below will be a picture of one of the scenes we filmed.

Peer review blog

Today, me and my group were doing peer reviews for another group in our class. My group members and I each got a review sheet and started watching the film for group # 2 called "The Chase". It was a good film and was in the time frame that it needed to be in. We all answered the questions on the peer review sheet as honest as possible and later gave them back the sheets. In my opinion, I liked the film they made and there were very minor tweaks they could have done to make it better. After doing the peer reviews, we gave the group our papers so they could see the feedback. Once we all finished the peer reviews, we just waited for the other group that was watching our film to give us feedback on our film. We were hoping it would be good and that they actually enjoyed the film.

After the group that were reviewing our movie was finished, they gave us their feedback on our movie. They said they really enjoyed the story line of our film and the visual edits we implemented to make it look better. They also liked the background audio of Aridsondez voice explaining the plot of the movie. Overall, they liked the movie and we were happy to hear about it. We worked hard to get the scenes done for our movie and put in a lot of time to get it done also. After reviewing, we then went on to make a blog of what happened today. Our teacher wasn't present for the day but told us to just write a blog of what happened. Below will be a photo of my peer review sheet :

Editing blog

After filming the different scenes for our film , Haphephobia, we gave it to our group member Aridsondez so he could go home and edit the film. First, Aridsondez combined all the clips together that we shot to make it a combined film. Then, he added color and different visual effects to the beginning of the movie to show when the antagonist appeared. Aridsondez also put in a background audio of his voice throughout the entire film and music. He also put in transition slides to show when time passed during the film. All of these things made up most of the film and made it look the way it is. He also showed us different scenes to see if we liked them or if we wanted something changed about the scene. Overall, we liked every scene he edited and told him to just go on and finish the film so we could submit it.

Once Arisondez finished editing, he sent us the finished film to see if we were ready to turn it in. After me and Marckins finished reviewing the film, we decided that it was good and that we wanted to turn it in. We came the next day to class to do our peer reviews to review another group's film and let them review ours. After all of that, we just decided to finish everything up and rest for the remainder of class. Below will be a picture of one of the scenes being edited:
