Filming blog ( Haphephobia)

Today we did not film because there many things that wasn’t planned thoroughly for us to film. After school, we planned to film but information was transferred between each other incorrectly. We texted each other saying are we going to meet up at my place to film for our movie. I said “ You guys have to come so we can film”. Marckins got the memo of what I said and started to make his way to my house. On the other hand, Aridsondez some how did not interpret what I said correctly and let his mom leave so he wouldn’t have any transportation to get to my house. After Marckins and I found out about the situation, we decided to just film on the weekend and have it completely done by the time we have to turn it in. We are running out of time to film this movie and need to get it done before the deadline. I am hoping that there isn’t any more things that delay our filming and that we can film to get the movie. 

All in all, since the day did not go as planned for filming, we just decided to film over the weekend. We made a schedule so that each of us knows when to meet up and where so that we can get all the filming done. After all of our filming is done, we will let Aridsondez go home and edit everything so that we can have a proper film. He will distribute the finished film to each of us so that we can view it  to see if we can tweak anything to make the film look better. We also made up a backup plan just in case one of the films looked strange or was filmed wrong so that we could just quickly meet up again and reshoot that scene. Once we agree that the film looks good, we will send it to our teacher so that he could then grade it and send it to Cambridge. Once we the entire film process, we will just wait for the next step in our entire film project so that we can be on pace. Below is another reason why we couldn’t film:

For today's film, we planned to film today but many things came about that denied the filming. Arisondez had track practice so he couldn't come by my house so that we could start filming. Most of the scenes for our movie contains Arisondez and I so without him we weren't able to get any filming done. By the time Arisondez was free, it was already too dark outside and none of us could actually come to our filming location. We rearranged a date so that we all could possibly meet up and film everything so we could start our film. Everything was settled over text and we went to do our own individual blogs. We are hoping that when we actually start filming that there isn't any hindrances that can delay our filming. We also have to take into account that Marckins has band practice after school so there may be days we won't be able to film.We also need to schedule an exact time to film. We can't wait until the last minute to do the film just to be bombarded with hindrances.

The days we will film will be the upmost importance because we are running out of time and need to get this film finished. Arisondez will need to find a way to get to our neighborhood so that we can film and get it all completed. After filming, we will give Arisondez all the footage so he can edit the film and we can submit. But until then we will just have to hope there is a day we can film so that we can get everything done. We will have to get all of our outfits and  prepare for filming. We just hope that everything goes according to plan and that we finish this film. Below will contain a picture of why we couldn't film:

For each actor in the movie they will wear their own clothing that they feel comfortable running in or getting dirty. Between filming we might have to take breaks because of  all the running and and movement that we will have to do to make our film. Everybody included in the film stays in the same area so it will be easy to meet up and start filming at any time. The filming will be done on my phone and will be sent to Arisondez after we obtain all the scenes. If anything happens such as bad weather or certain people can't appear for the film, we will just reschedule for that certain person and film for everybody else. We will also try to film where there isn't a lot of traffic so that we can get filming done smoothly without any interruptions. We will also try not to record where other random people might be located so that they don't disrupt the motion of our film. After all the filming is done, we will just go our separate ways and let Arisondez edit the film so that we can submit it. Below will be my outfit that I will be wearing for the film:

The filming process for our short film will be short and thorough to accomplish. We scheduled to film on Saturday so that we can get everything done on that day without any halts. We will include many friends of ours in our film so that it could more developed and interesting. My group and I will follow the scenes we put into our storyboard so that we could know which scene we are doing and the amount of time each one has to take.We will film around the area by my house so that we could have more open space and could have better looking scenes. Most of the scenes will only include me and Arsiondez so we will be there for most of the time. We will try to get scenes in the daytime and nighttime to make it the scenes more scary and dramatic. Each actor of the movie will meet at the certain location if they can to film and will include individual and combined scenes. During the end of our filming, we will give Arisondez all the recorded film so that he could edit to make it the complete 2 minute film.After all the filming is done, we will go our separate ways and just wait so that we can submit the film. Storyboard blog

When creating the story blog it was a spit effort. The script really helped in visualizing the story board. The story board and the script go hand and hand. So, it helped my teammates know what to draw and write on the story board. We split the effort three ways. So that is why some of the art seems different. That isn’t important thought because the story board still conveys the story. I know for sure now when we go filming it will be as easy as ever. When we hopefully bring more actors the story board will allow them to easily catch on to the story. The story board is actually pretty detailed.

Title design in details

Titles is going to be an important aspect of this project. So, it's imperative that we get them right. The way I will do this is keep the titles simple. They will be simple enough that it's not jarring but it still holds complex meaning. I want the title to somewhat represent the movie. Of course the background and music of the tile sequence will do that but if I can personalize the tile to do the same I think it will help the audience understand the movie a lot better. I'll personalize the titles to be correlated to the tag aspect of the movie. It will also have movements that represents tag.

Location, participants, health, and schedule

Details for LPHS is the details for the location, Participants, Health and safety and Schedule. This slide goes into detail on what the LPHS of our film will be. Finding a location wasn't hard, we used the same location from our music video that we did in the middle of the year. It's a great neighborhood. Schedule was hard to make but when I thought it out I made the perfect Schedule. It takes into account everything and gives us more than enough time to do this project accurately. Health and safety wasn't hard. I knew already what measures were put in place to ensure our well-being. Participants wasn't final. I know that 3 people including me will participate but I don't know if the other people will be also participating.

Sound script ( Sounds and Dialogue)

This script had to match the shooting script. Though this was easier in a way it was hard to find the right songs. The song had to be royalty free and had to be perfect for the scenes. After searching I found great songs on youtube that worked to my liking. Doing the script was hard. I had to really think about the sound that would be happening during a scene. I had to think about the dialogue and how that would work. In the end I think it turned out great. My partners will appreciate the scripts and be able to comprehend them. The sound script will help me when editing.

Shooting script

When doing the script about the character movements, movements of the camera and angles it was really hard to do. I had to consult my team and we had to think of a story to write about. The story we already made from our pitch but we have to figure out the details. The slides that I made are the script. It doesn't outline everything but it does outline what the characters are doing. The story is explained in the dialogue so it was hard making the script without that. I tried to implement most camera angles in my script. Including high angle, low angle tilt and even more. I didn't force the movements. It fits right into the story. Including the camera movements those were easy. Figuring out the story was the hardest part.
